Hello there!
Something a little different from me today as I take a look at Star Wars Battlefront II. The game is frequently bringing out new content, with 4 new heroes over recent months, a new map in Geonosis, a new large-scale game mode coming soon and new skins for troopers and heroes.
It’s the skins I’m going to be looking at today, as some heroes have multiple skins while others only have their original one, so I will be looking at some appearances that I would love to see brought into the game going forwards. If I don’t mention a character then I think they have the right appearances for now, though in the case of some (eg Rey) I can imagine Episode IX will give us some new looks that would make great skins.
- Luke Skywalker
From the Star Wars: Princess Leia 5-issue comic - Rebel Pilot
- Throne Room – Luke’s outfit from the final scene of A New Hope
- Moisture Farmer
- Jedi Master – an older version of Luke (including aged voice) that matches with the Force projection from The Last Jedi
- Dagobah Training – Luke’s appearance during The Empire Strikes Back with Yoda on his back, this could include new lines combining Luke and Yoda
- Han Solo
- Resistance General – an older version of Han (including aged voice) as seen in The Force Awakens
- Leia Organa
- General Leia – an older Leia (including new voice) wearing her outfit from The Force Awakens
- Chewbacca
- Bespin Escape – Chewbacca carrying a dismantled C-3P0 on his back could allow for new lines combining Chewie and Threepio
- Rey
- Jakku – Rey’s scavenger outfit with the hood and goggles on
- Finn
- FN-2187 – Finn still in his stormtrooper armour, either with the bloodied helmet or with his helmet off
- First Order Officer – Finn’s disguise from infiltrating the Supremacy during The Last Jedi
- Obi-Wan Kenobi
- Old Ben
- Padawan – Kenobi’s appearance from The Phantom Menace
- Mandalore – Kenobi’s appearance in Death Watch armour from The Clone Wars
- Anakin Skywalker
- General Skywalker – Anakin’s The Clone Wars appearance, similar to the General Kenobi skin that was added following Obi-Wan’s release
- Padawan – Anakin’s appearance from Attack Of the Clones
- Darth Vader
- Sith Apprentice – Anakin’s dark, hooded appearance as we see in Revenge of the Sith on Mustafar and in the Jedi Temple
- Malachor – Vader’s armour with the damaged helmet as seen towards the end of the Rebels episode “Twilight of the Apprentice”
- Palpatine
- Chancellor Palpatine – his appearance during the fight with Mace Windu, before he became scarred
- Darth Sidious – Palpatine’s cloaked appearance from the duel with Yoda at the end of Revenge of the Sith
- Maul
- Crimson Dawn – Maul’s appearance as seen at the end of Solo: A Star Wars Story
- The Shadow – Maul as seen in “Twilight of the Apprentice” with his robotic legs and tattooed body on show
- Captain Phasma
- Helmet off

As well as this, I would also love to see some of the other factions get their appearances overhauled similar to what is happening with the clones, where Phase 1 and Phase 2 armour will now be available on every map and a range of different units have been added.
- Rebellion – I would love to see the Rebellion troops able to use any of the default outfits (as seen on Death Star, Endor and Hoth) and each different species available for each different trooper
- Empire – I would love to see a new appearance made for the Specialist and then have variants of the different armours (scout trooper, snowtrooper, shoretrooper, sandtrooper and mudtrooper) added as alternate skins for the Assault, Heavy and Specialist. The Officer could then have multiple variants showing the different coloured tunics (white, grey, black, olive), one with additional armour like General Veers wears in the Battle of Hoth and a version in stormtrooper armour with a commander’s pauldron
- Resistance – like with the Rebellion, I would love to see the different species to be available on every trooper designation
What do you think about these selections? Are there any other appearances you would like to see? Thanks for reading and May the Force be with you…
