Star Wars Christmas Gifts

Hello there!

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

I thought that today it would be fun to do something a little different from the norm and have a look at the Star Wars themed goodies I got this year to add to the already growing collection you can see in the header image. As much as possible, I’ve also tried to find somewhere you can get it online so if you are interested you can get it too, but I will not promise that I have found the cheapest option by any means, so I would always recommend doing a bit of investigating yourself!

SW-Star-Wars-coasters.jpgPack of 4 Metal Coasters – This is a great little set of coasters. They’re made from tin with a cork backing. The black coasters show the symbols or the Rebellion and the Empire, while the silver ones show a TIE fighter and the Millennium Falcon. They look lovely but not overly strong so I’m planning to use them more for decoration than to put drinks on. I’ve found them on Amazon RRP £8.99

SW-R2-D2-coaster.jpgR2-D2 Coaster – This coaster looks awesome and though he isn’t my favourite droid, I still love Artoo! This coaster is much sturdier than the other set, but it looks so lovely I can’t imagine myself using it and think it will likely become another ornament. I have no idea where my mum found this coaster as I can’t seem to find anything similar online! Apparently there were a selection of them so I will update if I have any luck finding them!

SW-lightsaber-mug.jpgLightsaber Heat Change Mug – A great Secret Santa gift from a work colleague, this mug has a number of lightsaber hilts around the bottom, which due to the heat change nature show an ignited blade when holding a hot liquid. I was really impressed with the range of hilts around the bottom as it even included Ventress, not just the characters from the films. I’ve found this on amazon for £8.99

SW-book-Moving-Target.jpgMoving Target: A Princess Leia Adevnture by Cecil Castellucci and Jason Fry – This is a book that I’ve been interested in getting for a while but my gran picked up for me. I don’t know much about the story at the moment other than that it is part of the Journey to the Force Awakens series and ties into Return of the Jedi by being part of the Rebels’ preparation for the Battle of Endor. Waterstones has the paperback version for £7.99

SW-book-Rebel-Rising.jpgRebel Rising by Beth Revis – Again, I don’t know much about the story so far other than it covers Jyn’s time with Saw’s Partisans. As someone who really enjoyed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, I’m very excited to read this novel and learn more about Jyn. Waterstones has the paperback version for £8.99

SW book Most WantedMost Wanted by Rae Carson – I really enjoyed Solo: A Star Wars Story and Han is one of my favourite characters in canon, so I’m really looking forward to reading this young-adult novel that tells more of Han and Qi’ra’s story from before the film. Waterstones has the paperback version for £9.99

SW-funko-Ahsoka-Clone-Wars.jpgClone Wars Ahsoka Funko Pop! – My cousin has got me into the Funko Vinyls in recent years but living in a tiny flat means that I don’t really have the space to buy any, however she will often pick one up each Christmas that she knows I will like. I’m sure I’ll be able to find a place for it as I love Ahsoka! I’ve found it on EMP for £12.99

Obviously with the books I am looking forward to reading them but I have a bit of a backlog of books to read at the moment, so will get reviews up as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading and may the Force be with you…
